Privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Arrivo is a pre-launch company. Today, the only personal information we collect is what you give us when you join our waitlist. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send you early-access news and invite you to our beta.
- The country you’re moving from and when you expect to arrive, if you choose to tell us. This helps us decide which languages and countries to support first.
- Your consent to receive emails from us, and when you gave it.
We don’t ask for financial details, ID documents or passwords on this website. We don’t use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To send you emails about early access, our beta and our launch.
- To understand, in total, where people on our waitlist are coming from.
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for anything else without asking you first.
Who processes it for us
- Formspree receives and stores waitlist sign-ups. Formspree is based in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there, where it may be accessed under U.S. law.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
We only share what each provider needs to do its job, and they may not use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or for 12 months after our public launch, whichever comes first.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- See, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. We’ll reply within 30 days.
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca if you’re not satisfied with our answer.
Security
This site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to waitlist data is limited to the people who need it.
When Arrivo launches
The Arrivo app will collect more information, such as identity documents required by Canadian anti-money-laundering rules. Before launch, we’ll publish a full privacy policy for the app and ask for your consent.
